Daris East
About the Project
The Daris East prospect lies less than an hour’s drive west of Muscat. It is accessible via the Muscat–Sohar Highway to Mulladda, followed by a 25 km drive south on the Rustaq road (black tar road) to the village of Al Hazm. From there, an 8 km gravel road provides access to the site.
Alara first conducted exploration at Daris East between 2010 and 2012, successfully defining copper-gold resources in the area. A mining license application, originally submitted in 2012, remains under review for approval.
